How to navigate and use the Loc8 mobile app

Agenda View


Upon login, you will be taken to the Agenda view. This view shows you all the visits (appointments) on jobs that you have been assigned to. Each visit is an appointment on an associated job.

Clicking on one of the visit cards will open up the visit with more information including visit description, location notes and more. You will also have access to the action buttons below which allow you to assign* and change the visit status. (*Assign only available to certain user groups). Click here to learn more about visits.

You can also click on the Job ID icon to open up more details about the job.

You can further explore the Job by clicking on the "expand" icon in the top right hand corner of the job pop-up card. Click here to learn more about Jobs.

Jobs View


To use the Jobs view, click on the "Jobs" Icon in the main menu. This will take you to the Jobs workspace where you can see a list of all your jobs (including those without visits).

You can also open up the visit on a job (if there is one), by clicking on the visit label on the job card and expanding it to show more details. Click here to learn more about visits.

Clicking on the main job card area will open up the details of the job. Click here to learn more about Jobs.

Notifications, Workforce and Help


You can access Notifications, Workforce (users) and Help by clicking on your user avatar icon on the far right of the menu bar.


Notifications


Clicking on Notifications will give you access to any notifications that are associated to jobs you are assigned to. These can include Job Assignment, Visit Assignment/changes and other messages. You can also click on the 3 dots on each card to see more details.

Depending on the type of notification, you may simply get an option to mark as read or alternatively you can click through to the linked job/visit.

Workforce


The Workforce section will only be available to certain user groups (usually Admins or Subscriber accounts). Here you can see the list of other users in the system.

You can also click on a user to see more details.

If you have the appropriate permissions, you will be able to edit the user record by clicking on the Edit icon.

In-App Help


The Loc8 app has built in chat function to chat to one of our support team members. This function is available Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM AEST/AEDT. Outside of these hours, you can still leave a message and someone will respond during the above hours.
