Overview
This article will cover how to manage your visits in the Loc8 application from the main Visits list. For information on how to manage your visits from a job, click here.
The Loc8 mobile app will default to the Visits view when you login. Here you will see a list of your visits for the day as well as a calendar view to look at future/prior visits.
A visit is a fixed attendance time that has been added to a job. Not all jobs will have visits. Jobs without visits will NOT be displayed in the visits view.
The colour stripe on the side of the visit refers to the status of the visit:
Blue - Open Visit
Green - In Progress Visit
Grey - Completed Visit
White with strike-through - Cancelled Visit
Expanding the Calendar
To expand the calendar view to see visits on other days, click the "Visits in". This will drop down the calendar screen and you will be able to jump to different calendar days.
Days that have visits present will be indicated with a blue dot. You can click on those days to view the visits that are associated.
Sort and Refine *Coming Soon*
Clicking on the Sort and Refine icon will allow you to sort your visits and apply filters. This feature is under active development and will expand over future releases.
Depending on your user permissions and functionality updates, you may have multiple options in this area. We will update this documentation with the updates as they are released.

Managing the visit
To see the full visit details, click anywhere on the visit card. This will open the full visit view.
Here you can manage assignment and visit status. Certain changes may have pre-configured workflows that you need to complete (e.g. adding an attachment or comment). Depending on your user permissions, you may have access to all or some of these options.
Viewing Site Details (including Safety Warnings)
To view more details about the site for the visit, click on the site label. If the site has Site Warnings present, there will be an amber alert label next to the site name.
Clicking on the site label will open the site pop-up. This will allow you to see all the details about the site as well as view the safety warnings on the site.
Click on the Safety Warnings button to view more details about the warnings. If there are multiple warnings, you will need to click through them via the arrows.
When you reach the last warning, the arrow will change to a tick.
Changing visit status
To change the visit status, you can click on any of the Start, Complete, Cancel or Reschedule options. In the screenshot below, it displays the options for the "Complete" workflow.
You will get a list of available configured complete statuses for the visit. Depending on how many options are available, they may not all be displayed. If that's the case, you can use the search dialogue to find the status you wish to select.
If the workflow for that status change requires compulsory attachments or comments, you will see the following prompt with red asterisks present for compulsory items.
Once the compulsory items are completed, you will be able to proceed with the status change.
