In this article, we will look at how to manage Type specific attributes in Loc8. This article uses the JOBS workspace as the configuration point, but the process is ubiquitous across all workspaces that support custom attributes.

There are two entry points into workspace specific settings. You can either access directly from the workspace settings area, or from the main settings area and using the drop down selector in the Settings sub-menu.
Accessing Settings area from the workspace
Click on the "Settings" in the workspace sub-menu.

Accessing via main settings area
Click on "Settings" in the main menu bar, then use the drop down to select the correct workspace that you want to configure.

Configure Type based Attributes
Click on the entity TYPE you wish to configure.
You will then have the option to manage the Global attributes by clicking on "Manage" in the Global attributes header. CLICK HERE to find out more.
To configure or add a field group specific for this entity, click on + Add field group. Please note that any field groups you want to add here will be displayed on all entities of that type, including any that have already been created.
Once you have added the new field group, you can then configure the group details, including icon, field group name and the fields you want displayed.
When you click Add field, you will have the option to choose from existing fields that ARE NOT currently in use. If you need to create a new field, follow the guide HERE.
Once you are happy with the field group and the fields, click save down the bottom right hand corner and it will now be saved for that entity type.
