Feature improvements and changes

Email sending has been improved to minimise the amount of email that goes to spam

  • For customers subscribed to our Core or Professional plans: When you send an email out of Loc8, it will now be sent using a unique email address that is automatically created with your Loc8 account as opposed to being sent using your company email address. Please note that if a recipient replies to that email, the reply will still go to your company email address so there should be no noticeable change in behaviour.

  • For customers subscribed to our Enterprise plan: For now, the legacy configuration of sending emails using your company email address remains unchanged, however our customer success team will be in touch with you to transition you over to the new solution (as detailed above), or alternatively, to work with you to ensure your email implementation supports us sending email using your preferred address

  • Please note that these changes are only the first of several new features we will be rolling out to further configure email sending

Email formatting has been simplified to provide a more personalised experience

  • When an email is sent using the Share and export, Send quote, Send invoice, or Send email to customer actions the email now uses a clean, no-frills template that no longer includes dominant Loc8 branding or app download links

  • When an email is sent using the Share and export, Send quote, Send invoice or Send email to customer actions the email will be addressed as coming from the person who sent the email. For example, if Joe sends an email and his business is called Master Technicians, the email from will appear as 'Joe from Master Technicians'. Previously the email from would appear as 'Master Technicians'

  • All other instances of email sending are unchanged

  • Please note that these changes are only the first of several new features we will be rolling out to customise email styling
