NOTE: Only the Subscriber (the person who signed up) or Admin users with Settings access can complete the steps in this article.

Notifications in Loc8 enable you to automatically email all of the relevant people associated with any job, including assigned technicians, the job owner, and the customer when specific events occur such as rescheduling an appointment.

Simply turn on the corresponding notifications under Settings, and Loc8 will look after the rest.

Technician notifications are also sent to the user in-app, both in Loc8 browser and Loc8 Mobile. Users can find them in the Notifications area.

NOTE: All notifications in Loc8 are managed centrally and cannot be overridden per-user or per-customer.

STEP 1 Go to the Settings page.

STEP 2 Open the Notifications settings.

STEP 3 Enable the required notifications for technicians who will receive notifications on their Loc8 Mobile app and via email. Do the same for the job owners, who will receive notifications via email.

TIP: A job owner is someone who is responsible for a job but does not complete the work itself. They can be added to a job simply to receive notifications.  

STEP 4 Enable the required notifications for your customers and keep them up-to-date about the progress of their work requests via email.
