Reports are a great way of understanding where your business stands at any given point in time with the aide of visual data represented on different forms of charts for the key entities of your business, that is, Quotes, Jobs, Invoices, Assets and Workforce, where you can analyse them further on the basis of the key performance indicators such as the Activities, Lifecycle and Appointments.

Besides the real-time data displayed to you, you can also derive your own comprehensive report and export them for further insights to any of the third-party analytical tools or simply a spreadsheet such as Google Sheets that comes with vast possibilities of creating your own functions, charts, reports, data query, data arrangement, and filtering.

Accessing the Reports Workspace

Go to the Reports tab and select the category for which you want to gain more understanding about the overall performance.

For example, let's select Jobs.
The first thing you will notice are the numbers that matter the most with regards to the overall activities on the jobs that have taken place during this month.

As a next step, you can dive in deeper on different levels of gaining insights such as Activity, Appointments and Lifecycle for the jobs.

Working with Reports

Get the most out of the reports that are collected and presented on the reporting dashboard for The Activity or Lifecycle, and in case of Jobs, Appointments. For your reference, we have highlighted the different areas that allow you to dig deeper into the particular event of the selected entity.

1 Select a chart form, either Area chart or Bar Chart to analyse the required data from different perspectives, as both actuals and as a trend.

2 Use the filters to extract the exact sort of information that you'd like to see on the graph. The filters allow you to select the time period, site, customer, and region so you are able to exactly get into the nitty-gritty of what's happening through the charts (as rendered on 4).

3 Besides the figures and the charts shown to you, you can also interact with the checkboxes to view only the required set of jobs belonging to those selected activity.

4 The system lays out the graphs for visual analysis on the basis of the combination of the chart form (as selected in 1), the filters (as selected in 2) and the activity (as selected in 3).

5 Switch between the attributes using the dropdown to obtain a better understanding of the figures associated with the selected entity (jobs in this case).
